Don't look for gold, sell shovels

SaaS Idea 1 - ComfyAI Workflow Marketplace

When you see a chart like this, you should start paying attention.

We need to talk about ComfyUI.

ComfyUI is a GUI tool that lets people create stable diffusion workflows. I know - that’s a mouthful.

That’s also kind of the point.

It’s complicated. People don’t understand it. They’re searching Google about it A LOT.

Here are some search metrics you may find interesting

Keyword

Volume

Difficulty

Comfy ui

110,000/mo

.05

Comfyui tutorial

1300/mo

.02

Comfyui manager

12,000/mo

0

Comfy ui workflows

9900/mo

.03

In other words - Comfy UI has a lot of search volume, and the current competition in search results is BAD. It would be incredibly easy to rank here.

To illustrate this point - this website is on the front page of google search for “Comfy UI”: https://comfyuiweb.com/

They are likely getting several thousand visitors per month to their website, and the site itself doesn’t even offer anything. It has a generic image generation tool.

This is just to illustrate to you how simple ranking for this is right now.

So - what do you do?

You’re going to make a ComfyUI Workflow marketplace.

You let users upload ComfyUI workflows. You let them set a price to purchase said workflow, and you take a small % of every sale.

After that, you expand - you create tutorials, you create a manager, you become a known entity in the ComfyUI world. All of that search traffic from people trying to wrap their head around ComfyUI - they’re going to come to you.

With just a little bit of SEO competency, this site can blow up. ComfyUI is still in it’s early phases.

SaaS Idea 2 - N Summarizer

You’re probably thinking.. wtf is N?

N is anything that could be summarized. Podcast, Video, PDF, Email, Text content, etc.

“Text Summarizer” is searched almost 50,000 times per month. I don’t like doing ideas that aren’t validated. This is validation - if people are literally looking for a solution to a problem, it means there is a market for the solution.

What it looks like

  1. You create a landing page that allows users to upload N (aka, anything)

    1. They can enter a URL that points to a video, a podcast episode, a file, a blog

    2. They can also upload bare files

  2. When they upload N, you use AI to summarize it. If it’s audio or video, you use speech to text AI to get the content. Then, you send that content to an LLM of your choosing to get summarization.

  3. You present the summary to the user, they’re happy

    1. Give each user 1-2 free summarizations, then charge a subscription.

How I’d Market it

Two core things I would do - Socials + SEO.

Socials

Any time somebody asked a question on reddit, I would find relevant content that contained the answer to that question, summarize it, and share that summary. I’d then say I created this summary using https://aisummarizer.com or whatever you name it. This is manual, and painful, but this is textbook Paul Graham. In the beginning, do things that don’t scale.. https://paulgraham.com/ds.html

SEO

You’ll notice this theme with every project I share. I always start with search traffic as my baseline validation. If there is reasonable search that is actually attainable, I’ll proceed.

Here are the keywords you target..

Going Further

This works amazingly well as a chrome extension. If I could just be on any website, and click a “summarize” button that summarized whatever I was looking at, I’d think it was awesome. I would personally pay for that, so when you make it, hit me up!
